Having travelled across the globe and after every visit to a luxury property, a question always stared in our face – Why can’t we have a similar place in India? And that’s when we decided to embark on the journey of creating a brand that would be a confluence of finesse, quality, luxury and reminiscent experiences. A search for name for the property - landed ‘Burans’ in our lap which truly reflects our thoughts, a tree unique to the high altitude of the Himalayan ranges. It is adaptable and ranges from a tree at lower altitudes to shrubs in the higher altitudes, it’s evergreen and offers multiple benefits from culinary, medicinal to ecological, and creates a vibrant landscape of pink, red & white during the full bloom. The name ‘Burans’ resonates with mountains, and it just seemed apt to make it the brand we were ideating, hence the name ‘The Burans’. We now tread on the path of making ‘The Burans’ into the beau ideal of luxury.
